AI agents for customs preparation

Clear more files with the team you already have.

Three agents work every shipment before anyone opens it. One reads the invoices, packing lists and transport documents. One proposes the commodity code, with its reasoning. One checks the file for gaps before it goes anywhere. Your declarant reviews prepared work instead of typing it, and submits exactly as they do today.

Built for Malta's clearing agents, forwarders and regulated importers. No new hires, no new systems, no change to how your declarant keys and submits.

The problem you already know

Every file costs you three times

Most of it is typing

Every consignment is read and re-keyed by one of the few people permitted to key declarations — your most expensive and least replaceable hours, spent moving figures from one document to another. ICS2 pre-arrival data added more of it to the same desks. You cannot hire your way out: declarants are trained and licensed, not recruited off the street.

Holds you pay for twice

A missing certificate or a mismatched weight surfaces after lodgement. The goods wait, the demurrage runs and the client hears about it. You pay once at the port and again in trust.

Knowledge you don't own

Decades of classification judgement live with two or three senior people, and nowhere else. Every year they are harder to replace. When they go, it goes with them — and the firm carries the cost of learning it again.

How it works

Three AI agents work every file before your team opens it

Agent 01

Reads the file

Invoices, packing lists and transport documents go in, including scans. Out comes the declaration data, laid out the way your team keys it, each figure traceable to the document it came from. An hour of keying becomes a few minutes of checking.

Agent 02

Proposes the code

Grounded in the tariff and in your own firm's past classifications, with the reasoning shown. Your declarant confirms or overrides, and every confirmation is remembered. Thirty years of judgement becomes an asset of the firm, not of two employees.

Agent 03

Checks the file

Is the pack complete for this product, origin and procedure? Do the weights, values and package counts agree across documents? Is the licence or certificate where it should be? Gaps surface on your screen before submission. The hold never happens, and neither does the demurrage bill.

They run in sequence, unattended, the moment documents arrive — so your team's first contact with a file is reviewing it, not building it. Already linked electronically to customs? That link moves the data. Someone in your office still prepares it.

Safeguards

The agents are AI. The decisions are not.

Four limits, built into the product rather than written in a policy.

  • NEVER 01 Files anything. No connection to NIS, NES, NCTS or ICS2 — your declarant submits in the software they already use.
  • NEVER 02 Decides anything. Codes and values are proposals, with the reasoning attached.
  • NEVER 03 Sends unreviewed work. Every figure is confirmed by a person before export.
  • NEVER 04 Loses the record. Every file closes with who confirmed what, and when.

Try it free on your own shipments

Leave your details and we'll set up a free trial on a few of your recent shipments. Nothing to install, no account to set up. You get back the declaration data, the proposed codes and the completeness check, next to the work your team already did by hand. That is also how you get your own number — what a file costs you today, and what it costs when three agents do the preparing.

We reply from a person, not a system — and we're on the island, so we can come to you. Your documents and details stay on EU servers.
